Several Pro-Enrich partners met at Bangor University for a project meeting, where they among other things saw the the BioComposites Centre’s pilot scale facilities.
The purpose of the project meeting in Bangor was to provide a tour of the BioComposites Centre’s pilot scale facilities, located on the Island of Anglesey (http://bc.bangor.ac.uk/bc-tech-transfer/capabilities/index.php). The visit gave the project partners an opportunity to view the equipment that Bangor University will be using in work package 4, involving upscaling of the processes developed as part of WP3, including the wet biomass fractionation line.
A WP3 project meeting the following day provided a chance to review the progress each of the partners had made towards the deliverables and plan future research over the coming months.
