On July 1st Danish Technological Institute, GEA, and Food & Bio Cluster Denmark spoke at the second Pro-Enrich pre-market stimulation webinar which put spotlight on processing technologies for protein extraction from rapeseed meal and other raw materials.
Louise Krogh Johnson from Food & Bio Cluster Denmark, dissemination manager in the Pro-Enrich and webinar moderator, presented the project. Dominik Krienke, process engineer at GEA, explained what skills and technology GEA possesses that can help utilise vegetable biomass for extraction of novel proteins and other functional ingredients as well as how they contributed to the Pro-Enrich project, and Anne Christine Steenkjær Hastrup, director of bioresources & biorefinery at Danish Technological Institute, introduced participants to the work done at DTI of processing rapeseed meal at their pilot plant.
For more information about the innovative processing work done in the Pro-Enrich project please
