This work package will ensure efficient project management of all project phases including planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closing.
This WP will lay the foundation for the supply chain and quality assessment of the raw materials i.e. residuals from rape seed, olives, tomatoes and citrus fruits. Compounds from these sources within the groups of proteins, polyphenols, fibers, pigments and oil, respectively will be targeted throughout the rest of the project. Selection of potential end products will be based on the needs and preferences of end user project partners.
The objective in WP3 is to develop protocols for extraction of selected compounds from the side streams and residue materials.
In this WP the materials and methods assessed in earlier work packages will be undertaken on a larger scale in order to demonstrate proof of concept.
This WP will provide in-depth analysis and characterization of the targeted compounds and generated products in the Prp-Enrich project.
In this WP, feasibility studies will be developed to quantify impacts and select and deploy the best options for cost-efficient production of components from Pro-Enrich, based on technical feasibilities, Life cycle cost, life cycle analysis, socio-economic performance, public perception, health and safety as well as regulatory conformation – in all cases against currently marketed products.
The objective of WP 7 is to maximise the impact and the dissemination of the project and its results, by providing targeted information to multiple audiences in a strategic and effective manner.
